Established April 2, 1850, Schaumburg Township serves 140,000 residents in the Illinois villages of Elk Grove, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, Roselle, Schaumburg, and Streamwood. The Township also offers a myriad of social services including, but not limited to, senior, disability and welfare services; local transportation for seniors and people with disabilities; a 100% donation-based food pantry; unincorporated Township road maintenance; passport and notary public services; property and tax assessment assistance; Deaf services; as well as general information and referral services. In addition, we also partner to provide veterans services, employment counseling, youth and family services and nursing consultations. We are committed to becoming a more pollinator-friendly community and promoting how our residents can do the same with simple and inexpensive actions!

The Town of Mamaroneck has a population of roughly 29,000 and includes the entire Village of Larchmont (one square mile), the Unincorporated Area (5.7 square miles which is not part of either Village), and the part of the Village of Mamaroneck west of the Mamaroneck River. We are only about 40 minutes from Manhattan, yet are part of the beautiful Lower Hudson Valley and maintain several conservation areas and parks throughout the Town. We also boast proximity to the Long Island Sound and easy access to highways, airports and commuter train service. Town Supervisor Jaine Elkind Eney along with the Town's environmental committee, the Sustainability Collaborative, has committed to saving the monarch butterfly and other pollinators by signing the Mayors' Monarch Pledge. They look forward to engaging residents in building more pollinator habitat throughout the Town.

The City is home to many parks and natural areas, including many city parks, the Thompson County Regional Park and the Dodge Nature Center. The City's Environmental Committee, which advises the Mayor and City Council, is leading the way in promoting pollinator habitat to residents and businesses, and looks forward to further education and promotion of Monarch habitat.

Robbinsville Township is an up and coming diverse town of 15,000 with deep roots in agriculture. Robbinsville is located in Central New Jersey near Trenton and Princeton, and contains a rich history in farming and education that continues to this day. Besides the thousands of acres of preserved farmland, the township, under the direction of Mayor David Fried, Business Administrator Joy Tozzi and Township Council, has already provided a beautiful Butterfly Garden and is currently developing natural meadows at one of its natural environments at Miry Run, which flourishes with Monarchs during the warmer peak seasons. Robbinsville Township is committed to creating additional butterfly sanctuaries throughout the township that will effectively enhance the Monarch population and provide a safe environment for Monarchs and other key pollinators for years to come.
