City of Hometown
Hometown, IL
Frank Finnegan
Summary for 2023
As a new Mayor, I am making a plan to beautify our small town. The majority of our population is made up of our older residents and then younger families with children. It would be great to give both groups a common project in planting trees and observing the benefits of Mother Nature. Since losing many trees to the Bore Ash Beetle and the Dutch Elm Disease, we have lost a large amount of trees that were planted when our little town was built in 1953. It would be great to see more trees along our streets and monarchs flying around for all to enjoy.
