Scotch Plains is a town in New Jersey with approximately 25,000 residents. We are located a few miles from the Watchung Reservation which covers over 2,000 acres and is home to native plants, wildlife and includes an environmental education center that many Scotch Plains residents take advantage of. The Scotch Plains Park System is home to over 10 parks. Scotch Plains has a community garden which has a pollinator garden installed around the perimeter. The Scotch Plains Garden Club is active in town and holds plant exchanges annually. Mayor Losardo of the Township of Scotch plains has committed to saving the monarch butterfly and other pollinators with their signing of the Mayor's Monarch Pledge and looks forward to engaging residents in building more pollinator habitat throughout the city.

Mayor Price of Fort Worth has committed to saving the monarch butterfly and other pollinators by signing the Mayors’ Monarch Pledge and looks forward to continuing an ongoing program of new monarch habitats and community education on monarch conservation.
