The City of Coral Springs has approximately 134,000 residents and is know as the city with "Everything under the Sun. The city is a highly-rated, family-friendly city with over 50 parks, passive, wooded, and used for recreational. The City has a community garden with many plots of land for residents to plant monarch plants, seeds, vegetable's, and flowers. The City of Corals Springs Garden Club has planted several monarch gardens in city parks and at the Sawgrass Nature Center. City Hall has a monarch garden on the property that is maintained by city staff. The City has received the prestigious recognition of 'Tree City USA" for the past 41 years as well as the prestigious recognition of "National Wildlife Certified City" from NWF.

The Village of Spring Grove is a small, quiet community in North Eastern Illinois, right at the Wisconsin border. Our community is rooted in nature, founded by farmers in the early 1800's. The Nippersink Creek meanders through our community and has been a wonderful source of natural beauty and recreation. Conservation of green, open spaces are a cornerstone of our Village and our comprehensive land use plan reflects that. As our community continues to grow and move forward, we would like to reaffirm our commitment to our natural roots.

Covington, located in Northern Kentucky across the river from Cincinnati, is home to over 40,000 residents and the beautiful 700-acre Devou Park, known for its prairies and pollinator gardens. The city also features pollinator gardens throughout its parks, showcasing a strong commitment to environmental conservation. In 2017, Covington joined the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge under former Mayor Joseph Meyer, launching efforts to support pollinator habitats. Mayor Ron Washington has proudly continued this legacy, reaffirming the city’s pledge in 2026 and leading the charge with the Community Monarch Coalition to expand gardens and implement impactful conservation initiatives.

The Town of Poughkeepsie Climate Smart Task Force and Conservation Advisory Commission have for five years fostered a "Pollinator Pathways" program to encourage native pollinator plantings for monarchs and other vital species. We are now working to expand the network of Pollinator Pathways gardens, through a public relations campaign and through expanded pollinator garden spaces in Town parks. We have adopted "No- and Low-Mow May" and will make a special effort to promote milkweeds and other species that help monarchs survive.

The Village of Pulaski is a small community in Upstate New York, 4 miles from the Southeastern shores of Lake Ontario, 6 miles from Selkirk State Park and within 45 minutes of 4 other State Parks along the Lake Ontario Shores. The Salmon River, a world class fishing destination, runs through the heart of the community. Pulaski has a very active Garden Club. The Village will be working with this organization to hold a plant sale,, improve a pollinator garden at the village offices and exchange seeds and plants to provide habitat for monarch butterflies.

Salem, Virginia is a city in Southwest Virginia with a population of approximately 25,000. The city is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains near the Blue Ridge Parkway. Salem is home to Roanoke College and hosts many athletic events and tournaments at the Moyer Sports Complex. Salem is home to many community gardens. Mayor Turk of Salem, Virginia, has committed to saving the Monarch butterfly and other pollinators with Salem's signing of the Mayors' Monarch Pledge and looks forward to engaging residents in expanding pollinator habitats throughout the city.
