Phase 1: Preparing first bed and planting donated plants that attract bees and butterflies such as purple coneflower, black eyed Susan etc. Phase 2: Prepare second bed along fence line with primarily milkweed and joe pyeweed.

Bella Vista is a city with numerous parks, trails and a very active gardening community nestled in the Ozarks in northwest Arkansas. Last year we planted numerous pollinator plants and plan to continue to do so in 2022. We have seen an increase in the monarch population within our city and look forward to continuous growth. We are proud to be part of the Mayor's Pledge and encourage others to join.

The township is centrally located in the Raritan Valley region, being within the regional and cultural influence of the Raritan Bayshore. The population is 17,000, we are home to 7 township parks. We are committed to open space, and preserving the natural landscape of the town. We are looking forward to doing what we can to help increase the population the Monarch Butterfly!

The City of Shavano Park is located on the edge of the Texas Hill Country and offers a unique blend of rural small town character with urban conveniences. The City's motto is "City living with Country Charm," a phrase the City lives up to by being a nature and wildlife habitat. The City has committed to saving the Monarch Butterfly by planting the Milkweed plat at City Hall, community garden and municipal buildings. The City also informs the Residents of their ability to contribute by proclaiming April as Monarch Pledge Month in conjunction with the City's annual Arbor Day Celebration.

The Village continues to maintain pollinator gardens at Clock Tower Park and Dooley Park. We also plan to add pollinator native plants to the area located south of the Metra Station. We also want to move forward with the native plants near our community garden.

Cooper City is a lovely bedroom community in Broward County with Approximately 35,000+ residents, founded in 1959 by Morris Cooper. Many families and young professionals live here due to the excellent school system, safe environment and quality sports programs. Cooper City takes great pride in their well maintained mature tree canopy evidenced by the City logo which is a tree with the words "Someplace Special". This extensive tree canopy provides tremendous amounts of wildlife habitat.

The Village of Forest Park is located just a few miles west of Chicago. The village is home to a stretch of the Des Plaines River which is surrounded by both cemeteries and Cook County Forest Preserves.
