Brad Horton

Mayor

Pledge Summary

The City of Kennedale is a dynamic city with a growing population that is located on the southern edge of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. In collaboration with the Keep Kennedale Beautiful Commission, the city manages and maintains its pollinator garden and Monarch Waystation, both strategically located at TownCenter Park in the heart of Kennedale. This park is surrounded by significant landmarks, including the Library, City Hall, and Senior Center, and serves as the venue for numerous community events, thus making the garden accessible to both residents and visitors. The City of Kennedale is committed to developing a pollinator-friendly community. By engaging residents and promoting the importance of milkweed, native plants, and pollinators, the city aims to foster a sustainable environment for future generations. The Keep Kennedale Beautiful Commission comprises appointed board members and dedicated volunteers who share a profound appreciation for the city and a commitment to preserving its natural beauty. For further information about Keep Kennedale Beautiful and how to get involved, please visit their webpage at Keep Kennedale Beautiful.
