City of Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach, CA

Sue Kempf

Mayor

Pledge Summary

The City of Laguna Beach took the Monarch Pledge to support endangered Western Monarch Butterflies in our community of Laguna Beach in Orange County, California. The City of Laguna Beach is a small coastal city in Orange County, California that is home to just under 25,000 residents. It’s known for its many art galleries, coves, tide pools, and beaches. Trails meander through coastal canyons in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. Monarchs need all of us to make our homes, businesses, schools, and community spaces more Monarch-friendly and wildlife-friendly. Working together, the City has committed to creating a Monarch habitat and we can make our community a safe harbor for Monarch Butterflies. Together, we will ensure that future generations have the chance to enjoy this iconic butterfly.
