Pledge Summary

Coral Township serves the rural communities of three towns: Marengo, Union and Huntley Illinois. The Township maintains a pollinator garden on the grounds of Township property. This year we are continuing to widen our garden bed and increase our milkweed varieties along the fence line. We will also continue to assist other stewards develop their gardens and encourage residents in the township to plant pollinators as well.

Launch or maintain a public communication effort to encourage residents to plant monarch gardens at their homes or in their neighborhoods. (If you have community members who speak a language other than English, we encourage you to also communicate in that language; Champion Pledges must communicate in that language.)

Program and Demonstration Gardens ▸

Host or support a native seed or plant sale, giveaway or swap.
Add or maintain native milkweed and nectar-producing plants in gardens in the community.
