Philippe Bien-Aime

Mayor

Pledge Summary

North Miami has committed to pollinator conservation with three butterfly gardens within the City of North by providing them with healthy habitat that is rich in a variety of native plants and free of toxic pesticides. Pollinators are essential to our ecosystem in assisting with plant reproduction and support of various wildlife and are responsible for almost a third of the food and drink we consume. The three butterfly gardens attract a variety of butterflies; one in particular that is very beautiful is the Azalea butterfly.
