City of Petaluma

Petaluma, CA

Teresa Barrett

Mayor

Pledge Summary

Petaluma is a city of 60,000 residents in southern Sonoma County, California. Our city's residents are very concerned about protecting the monarch butterfly and conserving its habitat. We are shifting the city towards integrated pest management and away from synthetic pesticides. We encourage community gardens and an Urban Growth Boundary in our efforts to live harmoniously with our pollinators both here in our city and the surrounding countryside.
