Mamaroneck, NY

Nancy Seligson

Town Supervisor

Pledge Summary

The Town of Mamaroneck has a population of roughly 29,000 and includes the entire Village of Larchmont (one square mile), the Unincorporated Area (5.7 square miles which is not part of either Village), and the part of the Village of Mamaroneck west of the Mamaroneck River. We are only about 40 minutes from Manhattan, yet are part of the beautiful Lower Hudson Valley and maintain several conservation areas and parks throughout the Town. Long-time environmentalist, Town Supervisor Nancy Seligson, along with the Town's environmental committee, the Sustainability Collaborative has committed to saving the monarch butterfly and other pollinators by signing the Mayors' Monarch Pledge. They look forward to engaging residents in building more pollinator habitat throughout the Town.
