The Village of Mount Prospect, located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, IL, is home to 56,000 residents. It manages over 25,000 parkway trees and approximately 55 acres of greenspace, including several public native and butterfly gardens. By signing the Mayor’s Monarch Pledge, the Village reaffirms its commitment to fostering native plants and pollinator-friendly gardens throughout the community.
