Johns Creek is a city on the North side of the Metro Atlanta Area with a population of 82,000. The city partners with many local non-profits that support environmental conservation in the City, including education and plantings to support butterflies in our community.

Engage with gardening leaders and partners (e.g., Master Naturalists, Master Gardeners, Nature Centers, Native Plant Society Chapters , other long-standing and influential community leaders) to support monarch butterfly conservation.

Plant or maintain a monarch and pollinator-friendly demonstration garden at City Hall or another prominent or culturally significant community location.

Systems Change ▸

Launch, expand, or continue one or more ordinances to reduce light pollution to benefit urban wildlife.
